Network operations & incident response
At Atturra: network monitoring, incident response and service restoration in a 24/7 environment, working alongside network engineers.
Infrastructure & connectivity
Connectivity troubleshooting informed by hands-on work with switching, VLANs, firewalls, wireless and voice systems.
Security tooling & systems
Firewall and segmentation experience, Wazuh and local AI triage through PlainSight, plus Linux, Docker and virtualisation in my own lab.
Field experience & delivery
Previously at Netbridge: infrastructure installation, service validation and project coordination, including procurement and supplier follow-up.

From field to NOC.
I’m Anjelo Fernando, based in Auckland, New Zealand. I now work as a NOC Analyst at Atturra in a 24/7 operations environment. My move into the ISP/service-provider world means building experience in network monitoring, connectivity troubleshooting, incident response and service restoration alongside network engineers.
Previously, I was a Network Analyst at Netbridge, working on infrastructure installation, switching, VLANs, firewalls, wireless and voice systems. Procurement and project coordination were part of getting that work delivered.
That field experience helps me connect what a monitoring tool shows with what might be happening on the ground. I like checking the basics, following the evidence and understanding why something failed. I’m continuing to build those skills towards network engineering.
I prefer boring, maintainable setups over clever ones. A network that stays up is worth more than one that only looks smart on paper.
